Our Response: Femme Power

Femme Power is more than a class - it’s a movement. Our free empowerment and self-defence programme for women and girls aged 13+ combines:

Practical skills – breakaway techniques, verbal strategies, and awareness tools.
Knowledge – understanding consent, the law, trauma responses, and how to report.
Community – safe, women-led spaces where participants share, support, and lift each other up.

The result? Women don’t just leave with skills—they leave with their voice, their confidence, and a renewed belief that they are not alone.

The Evidence: Independent Findings

Why This Matters for Funders and Partners

In 2023, Blossom delivered 8 Femme Power courses, reaching 152 women and girls. Independent evaluation found:

Confidence in personal safety nearly doubled (from 2.3 to 4.0).
100% would recommend the programme.
Every participant felt more confident spending time in their community afterwards.
Many described the experience as “life changing.”
